How to become a Contestant:
Send or e-mail Entry Form to Sylvia Walden or sylvia916missa@juno.com
Find a sponsor-Sponsor Fee is $100.00
Read and fill out all required forms(see below)
Eligibility requirements:
Contestants must meet all Miss America Outstanding Teen eligibility criteria plus:
Must live in or be enrolled in, and attending classes on a full time basis in an accredited school or home schooled program in Monroe county.
Be single, never married, nor have had any children.
Be a U.S. Citizen
Meet age requirement: Must be at least 13 years of age on the day of the local preliminary competition and no older than 17 as of Aug. 31, 2008.

Judging Criteria:
All competitions scored on a scale of 1-10
using whole numbers, with each contestant's high and low score dropped
from each phase of competition with the exception of the final ballot.
Talent (2 minutes or less) - 35%
Private Interview (6 minutes) - 35%
Evening Wear - 15%
Lifestyle and fitness (No swimsuit) - 10%
On-Stage Question - 5%
TOTAL - 100%
